How do you know how many visits have a website?

While this is information that only the webmaster or website owner decides whether to publish or not, many of the visitors to a website would be interested to know how many daily visits has that site. There are some blogs that summarize their monthly statistics, so that your readers may know, this is a great way to make those visitors know more about the site in question.
Still, there are some sites that for various reasons prefer not to show their statistics, and are within their rights, and therefore there are tools like Statbrain .
Statbrain is a website that can give an approximate daily visits has a website ranking based on various public and doing some math with them. It uses statistics from Alexa, Google PageRank and similar tools.
In practice, we can say that is quite effective with small websites or with few visitors , but with websites of over 10,000 unique views a day can give an estimate quite different. Still, it's highly recommended and definitely a tool to what many webmasters already have respect.
